I know that you have sense of humour and I want you to have a laugh.



When I arrived at the school of Exact Sciences Mrs Scolnik was teaching
Linear Programming, and Mr Scolnik was teaching Non Linear Programming. The
contents of their courses stood at 1950. I changed both courses by a single
course on Combinatorial Optimization extending over two semesters. Husband
and wife returned to the Computer Science dept where they belong. As it
turned out Mr Scolnik was not pleased with my action, and he decided I
should be eliminated, but he bided his time.



The time came when my contract was due. The decision was to be taken by
dean Jacovkis and his cabinet. The cabinet has 16 courtiers but only one
counts, namely, consigliere Juan Pablo Paz. So Scolnik talked Paz into do
me in.



Now, Paz is a well known flamboyant chap, who knows how to persuade men and
how to talk ladies into the bedroom. He pronounced an eloquent speech
making crystal clear that I was unnecessary and that I should be replaced
by lady Scolnik. And so they kicked me out of the school to be replaced by
the Missus.



But consigliere Paz had made a mistake, or he had just ignored it.
According to regulations I could only be replaced by a professor from my
own department, that is the math department.



So I presented a legal dispute to the new dean Aliaga charging Jacovkis
with violating regulation CS4320/05 which clearly stated that, since no
math professor knew my subject, Combinatorial Optimization, I should be
reinstated. Aliaga readily put across regulation CD 2255/07 which clearly
stated that CS4320/05 was not violated by Jacovkis, and no explanation
whatsoever he gave for that lie. Feeling dejected I appealed to Monsieur
Ruben Hallu, the Rektor, who is the top dog of the academy, and he raised
his hind leg and urinated on the legal document.



Now my dear friend, we have here a chain of wrongdoings by people in power;
the former dean of the school Jakovkis accepted a regulation to be broken
by the chairman of the department of physics Paz who wrong me to favour the
wife of the chairman of the Computer Science department, that is, Scolnik.
The new dean of the school Aliaga covered up the wrongdoing of the former
dean Jacovkis, and the Rektor covered up the wrongdoing of the new dean
Aliaga.



I turned to my colleagues in the Math Department asking for help and they
just became dumb, mute and blind. When I walked down the school corridors
they looked at me as if I were the invisible man of H.G. Wells.
