TITULO:  Fundamental Theorems for the overlapping function.

RESUMEN:

We consider the function that, for every string of length n, gives the
position of the first overlap of the string with a copy of itself. The
goal is to observe statistical properties that can be derived with
short samples. A Law of Large Numbers and a Principle of Large
Deviations where recently proved. In this work in progress we present
recent results and simulations in the direction of a Central Limit
Theorem for this quantity.
