transformadora de la empresa de
energía eléctrica EJESA
con un acampe fueron brutalmente
reprimidos por la policía
provincial. Ancianos, mujeres,
niños y jóvenes
sufrieron una brutal golpiza. Hay al
menos 18 detenidos/as en la
comisaría 32, entre los que se
encuentran los periodistas José
Tolaba y Guillermo Ramos, de Radio
Pueblo (integrante de la Red Nacional
de Medios Alternativos/RNMA), quienes
se encontraban realizando la cobertura
periodística de los hechos y
los cuales les secuestraron sus
equipos. En este momento hay
movilización espontánea
de los vecinos/as del barrio en
repudio al accionar policial.</div>

Esquivel, quiere
expresar su
preocupación por la
situación de
violencia que se vive en
la Provincia de Jujuy, a
raíz de la
represión desatada
por la movilización
de vecinos del Barrio
Malvinas. Estos
vecinos se negaron a que
la Empresa EDESA,
amplíe una
estación
transformadora de
energía
eléctrica y que se
encuentra enclavada en el
medio de su barrio,
causando posibles
contaminaciones que
perjudican su salud, al
mismo tiempo que se viola
la Ley General del
Ambiente, Ley 25.675 (que
prevé una
convocatoria a una
audiencia
pública).</font></span></p>
