Description: the Ehrlich laboratory is centered in unraveling the
molecular mechanisms of co-regulation of signal transduction and membrane
trafficking. This mechanism of co-regulation is central for cell
transformation, for the action of therapeutic agents and the outcome of
the encounter of viruses with cells. Currently, the laboratory employs
different cellular models to study: the trafficking and signaling of the
TGF-beta and BMP receptors, virally induced cytolysis, and in vivo
sensing of protein synthesis.<br>
