Detection of Single Quantum Objects - From Basic Principles to
Applications<BR><BR></B></FONT></DIV>Abstract:<BR>The talk concentrates on the
luminescence detection of single quantum objects such as organic molecules and
semiconductor nanoparticles (quantum dots). In the first part the principles
of this ultrasensitive detection scheme in combination with optical
spectroscopy will be outlined.<BR>The following applications will concentrate
on <BR><BR>"<X-TAB> </X-TAB>molecular

films<BR>"<X-TAB> </X-TAB>
photoinduced charge transfer processes in nanoparticles and
<BR>"<X-TAB> </X-TAB>formation of
organic-inorganic nanoassemblies.<BR><BR>
