detección de trazas gaseosas es un tema importante en el área de la
contaminación ambiental, en medicina, en la industria farmacéutica y alimenticia
y en seguridad. Una de las técnicas particularmente interesante<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>por lo simple en su concepción e
implementación y, a su vez, de alta sensibilidad, es la espectroscopía
fotoacústica. En los últimos años ésta ha sido estudiada especialmente debido a
la aparición de nuevas fuentes láser de estado sólido y al desarrollo de equipos
electrónicos y computadoras, que permiten mejorar el procesamiento de la señal.

el CEILAP se está trabajando en este tema de física aplicada hace ocho años. Se
han llevado a cabo desarrollos originales de sistemas de adquisición de datos,
simples y baratos, que permiten prescindir de equipos voluminosos y caros, como
un amplificador lock-in vectorial por medio de la placa de sonido de una PC.
Asimismo, han sido utilizados LEDs como fuentes para diseñar sistemas FA
económicos y
