compleja forma de las partículas volcánicas en erupciones fuertemente
explosivas es función del tipo de magma y del estilo eruptivo, así como del
transporte de las partículas. El análisis fractal prové un método cuantitativo
de comparación objetiva que no es factible por las técnicas usuales.
Analizaremos en particular la técnica de análisis mediante espectros fractales
y sus ventajas en cuanto a la determinación genética de las partículas vítreas
en depósitos volcánicos antiguos.</span></font><b><font size=2 face=Arial><span
