investigadores del Dr. Kazuaki Ishihara en <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:PersonName w:st="on"
ProductID="la Universidad">la Universidad</st1:PersonName> de Japón, realizó un
trabajo de investigación reportando, con muy buenos resultados y con altos
rendimientos en cuanto a la enantioselectividad de los productos obtenidos,
reacciones de ciclación enantioselectiva de diversos poliprenoides<SUP>1</SUP>.

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt"><FONT
face="Times New Roman">A comienzos del año 2007 se ha publicado en
<st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Revista Nature">la Revista
Nature</st1:PersonName><SUP>2</SUP> un trabajo en el cual el mismo grupo de
investigación ha logrado la halociclación enantioselectiva de compuestos
poliprenoides con rendimientos muy buenos en cuanto a la enantioselectividad de
los productos halogenados obtenidos, en particular para el caso de las
iodaciones. Esto resulta muy interesante en el campo de <st1:PersonName
w:st="on" ProductID="la Qu￭mica Org￡nica">la Química Orgánica</st1:PersonName> y
en <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Qu￭mica">la Química</st1:PersonName>
medicinal y abre las puertas para el desarrollo de nuevas técnicas que permitan
mejorar aún más estos avances.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
