The HOD model is frequently used in surveys to predict the mass of the
dark matter haloes from the distribution of galaxies. On the other hand,
semi-analytical models of galaxy formation are often used to populate
simulations according to some physical prescriptions. We use the
Millennium Simulation with their semi-analytical models of galaxy
formation to reconstruct the galaxy bias from the halo and subhalo bias
assuming the HOD model in order to study the compatibility of the HOD
model in these galaxy catalogs.
