The Milagro water Cherenkov detector surveyed the Northern Galactic plane
at a mean energy of 20 TeV, resulting in the detection of the Crab Nebula,
along with at least 7 other sources with angular extensions from 1 to 3.5
deg. Each of these sources covers several potential counterparts and no
definitive association can be made, complicating the task of determining
the mechanism(s) that produce the high energy photons. VERITAS, an imaging
atmospheric cherenkov array, has followed some of these sources with
higher angular and spectral resolution above 500 GeV.
In this talk I will present VERITAS results on two Milagro sources, MGRO
J2019+37 and MGRO J2227+61, and will place them in a multiwavelength
context.
