“SYNTHESES, CHARACTERIZATION AND ANTIMICROBIAL  PROPERTIES OF SOME ALKYL
AND ARYL SUBSTITUTED AZA MACROCYCLIC LIGANDS, THEIR N-PENDENT DERIVATIVES;
 AND THEIR TRANSITION METAL COMPLEXES”.

The deliberation will involve an introduction to macrocyclic compounds,
their importance, syntheses of some of the biologically important aza
macrocyclic ligands, their N-pendent derivatives and their transition
metal complexes. Characterization of them by different spectroscopic
techniques, elemental, conductometric and magnetochemical analyses will be
described, as well as confirmation of some of the structures by X-ray
crystallography. Applications such us the antibacterial and antifungal
activities of these compounds will also be discussed.

Aside from the abovementioned research works, I will show some of the
slides of my country (Bangladesh) for about 5 min at the beginning or end
of my talk.
