Dear Prof. Tamborenea,

we would like to draw your attention to the
                     Advanced School and International Workshop

              "Developments and Prospects in Quantum Impurity Physics"
to be held in Dresden, Germany from May 30 - June 10, 2011. This international
workshop will bring together researchers from a diverse range of areas to
which quantum impurity physics is important and will cover the recent
achievements. It aims at generating cross-fertilization among the various
fields. The workshop is preceded by an advanced school that will be open
to PhD students and young postdocs.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS 28 FEBRUARY 2011.

The event is co-sponsored by the Max Planck Society and the Institute
