Dear Professor Arrachea,

the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden
announces the opening of a postdoctoral position for a theoretical physicist
in the field of strongly correlated systems.

I would appreciate it if you could bring the announcement below to the attention
of suitable candidates.
Thank you!

Best regards,

############################ Postdoc Announcement
#######################################
The Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden
announces the opening of a postdoctoral position. The areas of interest include
strongly correlated electron systems, quantum phase transitions,
low-dimensional systems,
correlation effects in nanostructures, non-equilibrium dynamics,
transport in correlated
systems and computational many-body physics.
Furthermore, the Institute provides a stimulating environment due to
the in-house workshop
program and the nearby Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids,
the Technical University and the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and
Materials Research.

Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, a list of publications,
a research statement and three letters of reference to

Stefan Kirchner
Max-Planck-Institute for the
Physics of Complex Systems
Noethnitzer Str. 38
D-01187 Dresden
Germany
(kirchner en mpipks-dresden.mpg.de)

Electronic submission is preferred.

The Max Planck Institute aims to increase the number of women in
scientific positions.
Female candidates are therefore particularly encouraged to apply.
In case of equal qualifications, candidates with disabilities will
take precedence.
