Subject: invitation to QTS6 - 20-25 July 2009

[...] the Sixth International Symposium on Quantum Theory and Symmetries, 
which will be held from 20 to 25 July 2009 in Lexington, Kentucky, on the 
campus of the University of Kentucky. 

QTS6 is part of a biennial series of symposia on subjects at the frontiers
of theoretical and mathematical physics.  By emphasizing broad themes that
cut across disciplines, the conference will provide a unique opportunity for
researchers from diverse backgrounds to interact.

This year's conference will have a special emphasis on applications of
string theory techniques throughout physics.  The conference will bring
together string theorists with established experts in atomic, nuclear, and
condensed matter physics, cosmology and gravitation, quantum computing and
information theory, and other areas.  More information and a partial list
of speakers may be found on the conference website

We encourage you to register for the conference online by 31 May 2009; late
registration fees will go into effect after that date.   Abstracts for
contributed talks may also be submitted for consideration at the conference
website. The window for abstract submission will close on 31 May 2009.
