Resumen: We introduce the model of bandwidth sharing networks used to
represent a great range of telecommunications networks. We then study
some Markov birth and death processes with 0-homogeneous transitions
associated with these networks. We discuss their stability (positive
recurrence) and the links between stability and the behaviour of their
fluid limits.
