<p>PASI2012 - Exploring the Terascale and Beyond<br>

University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, March 5-16, 2012<br>

At present times there are hadron collider and neutrino experiments collecting data that will provide a new vision of the Terascale<br>

<br>

and Beyond. In parallel, many underground laboratory and extraterrestrial experiments are providing a new handle on astrophysics<br>

<br>

and cosmology. The Pan-American Advanced Studies Institute (PASI2012): :Exploring the Terascale and Beyond" will present the<br>

<br>

current state-of-the-art in particle physics and cosmology through pedagogical lecture courses as well as a number of special topics<br>

<br>

drawn from exciting results at the forefront of research.<br>

<br>

The school will take place March 5-16, 2012 at the University of Buenos Aires, and will build on the successes of the previous<br>

<br>

PASI schools. The target audience is young postdocs or graduate students from US and Latin-American institutions, with strong<br>

<br>

interest in particle physics and cosmology. Both theorists and experimentalists are encouraged to apply.<br>

<br>

All presentations will be made in English. The school program will include time for informal discussions, and social activities in<br>

<br>

the vibrant city of Buenos Aires. Financial support for a limited number of US and Latin-American students to attend PASI2012<br>

<br>

is provided jointly by U.S. National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy.<br>

<br>

Qualified women and minorities are encouraged to apply.<br>

<br>

Mentoring of postdoctoral fellows is an important part of the program and applications from young physicists who have received<br>

<br>

their Ph.D degrees in the last 3 years and are pursuing research in the field are encouraged.<br>

The school will take place March 5-16, 2012 at the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. There will be ten days of<br>

Applications are open and applicants are required to apply by October 24, 2011 for full consideration and support<br>

from the PASI2012 NSF and DOE award.<br>
